How Booker Hill Projects manages Time Differences with our customers overseas.

Recently I pondered: What little thing do we do in our business that injects some fun into the workplace but has a really practicable use?
Tim always jokes that we have an international headquarters above a restaurant in Uttoxeter. It does get a chuckle at business networks and meetings.
But the reality is that it is true!
Our team are currently working on projects in Canada, America, Spain, Italy and the Netherlands as well as having worked all over Europe and Africa as well.
With this, it can be a logistical nightmare for online meetings and knowing the times of other countries.
Solution: Clocks set to the times of each Country/time zone. and rather than going with just name plaques we use Lego. So Canada has a depiction of Toronto, most of Europe is represented by Italy currently. And of course good Old Londinium for the UK. n.b. so we don't forget what time it is here! The visual representation makes it more dynamic than just a bunch of clocks.
And also as our projects change and move elsewhere we can swap the Lego to represent the new places on our travels as an organisation.
And just for clarity: no engineers were distracted from their work to build this display - but they did complain about it lol.
